Tab 1 – Employee Import
( New tab )1. Select the file with the Employee data to import
2. Click the [ Import Employees from selected file ] button to populate the table.
3. Review dat ain th etable sam eas the xls file to import next.
Tab 2 – Import from Excel
( Existing Tab)1. Select the Excel spreadsheet file to import
2. Click the [Import from Excel] button to populate the table.
3. Review the data imported
4. Select a folder for data output to be saved and [ Create ESS Text file ] if required
Tab 3 – Email Message
1. Enter data for Sender, BCC and Subject.
NB: BCC can be left blank.
NB: Subject will have a reference id added during email send.
2. Enter a generic email message
Tab 4 – Merge, Print and Email
NB: This form is the same as previous form with the addition of one button to email1. [ Merge duplicate records] same as before
2. Review data is as expected. Check a few names with tab 1 to confirm files match.
3. Select file folder where copies of the created pdf’s will be saved.
4. Click [ Create and email Employee pdf’s ] button and the will be created. emailed and the log file updated.
NB: Each time the button is clicked it will create a new batch id to assist with monitoring the send results.
Tab 5 – Smtp Log
1. Data in the log file can be filtered by Bach ID and/or one of the “event status “ types in the combo box as required.Click [Filter] to apply filter or [Reset] to clear all filters.
NB: Y0u can also set filters by using the column header filters
2. Click [Email Send Check] to see if the emails have been delivered and what the results were.
3 [ Smtp2Go.com Login] can be used to check the online statistics and more info on emails sent.
Tab 5 – Resend failed emails
1. Filter the log as required using any of the filtering options.2. review each line and to resend click the “ > “ arrow on the left margin.
3. Fill in any changes as required.
4. Click [ Resend Email ] to resend the selected email.
